I started at Ecology North in 2016 and have worked on a variety of projects, ranging from soil recipes, to remote composting, to community events, to citizen science and species at risk teaching materials. I also help out at the YK compost site.
I studied biology, conservation, and fish ecology at Trent University, and have always loved getting outdoors to explore the natural world. Ecology North is a good place for me to ask questions, to learn to live conscious of my effect on the world around me, and to help others do the same.
When not at work, I enjoy:
Canoeing, backpacking, climbing, baking, and digging in the dirt, among other things.
