Monte has been living in Yellowknife with his family since 2013, having spent most of his adult life in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Here in YK he has worked with the GNWT in the Health and Social Services dept. as an intergovernmental affairs adviser and more recently he has constructed a small family home in the new Grace Lake subdivision where his family now lives.
Monte has a background in health care administration and construction. He also has considerable board experience from Iqaluit including chairing the Uquutaq Society Board, which runs the men's homeless shelter.
Monte is a general outdoor enthusiast and has an interest in Ecology North's mission. He would love to see the organization thrive and is pleased to be a part of it.
