Screening of “Happening to Us” – a Tuk TV Film

Ecology North will be hosting a FREE film screening of the short 20-minute film, Happening to Us, brought to you by Tuk TV. Experience the impacts of climate change through the eyes of Inuvialuit youth from Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, a remote community on the coast of the Arctic ocean. Come watch this incredible film as they share their stories of how their community, one of the hardest hit places in the world by climate change, is falling into the ocean.

The film showcases conversations with community members of Tuktoyaktuk, Scientists, Natan Obed, President of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, and the former Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna. Embark on a journey to explore authentic human stories behind climate impacts.
