Water Stewardship Gathering 2021

On August 13-17, 2021, Ecology North, in partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University and the Ka’a’gee Tu First Nation, will be making the trip out to Kakisa with a selection of northern youth aged 18-30.
This year’s annual Water Stewardship Gathering is an in-person on-the-land camp whose purpose is to bring together young leaders to discuss, share and identify solutions to water stewardship issues impacting their communities while developing leadership and facilitation skills. There will be a valuable combination of traditional knowledge and science-based learning.
Dates: 13th – 17th August, 2021
Location: Kakisa, NWT
Eligibility: Youth aged 18 – 30 years old, based in the Northwest Territories.
